The life for those textile factory workers was so hard.The reason why is because in the song it mentions how long they work when he says work,work,work, till the stars shine trough the roof.Also how he describes how the women were dressed in un-womanly rags and how they were sweing the whole time.So their life must of been really hard because they barely got any sleep and had to work to help their family.

The whole blogging idea is very cool but I dont like it at the same time because i get very distracted and forget about the blog and decide to go on facebook or go on you tube to look up videos.Its very ahrd to stay concentrated when the computer is sitting right in front of you and you cant help but on another website.

2.Was your learning different when blogging, as compared to writing just pen and paper?

Yes very different.The reason is because blogging is so much better than writing about something on a piece of paper.

Which blogging topic was your favorite from first quarter?

My favorite blogging topic from the first quarter was the one about the sterotypes because we had the chance to explain what it was aking and also give example like I did.

3.What effect did Reconstruction have on former slaves? Were they better off after Reconstruction than they were before the Civil War?

The reconstruction had effects on the south beacuse it was granting them amnesty.It was replacing all loyal rules in the south and Lincoln was doing partons to all.One effect that it had on the south was that the republicans were angry because the conferderate members were allowed to stay in the United States congress.They also had the three amendments which ended slavery,due process which meant that they had rights and security of freed people,and the right to vote no matter the race,color,or previous condition of servitude,but expect gender.And I personally think that they were better off after the Recontruction because they did not have as much rights as they had before.

2.During Reconstruction there was great debate over whether the South should be granted amnesty. What are your thoughts? Defend your argument

The south should've been granted amnesty because all the people that were hurt.Also even though the republicans were angry because the confederate members were allowed to stay in congress doesnt mean they shouldnt of been able to be granted amnesty.When Lincoln had a plan for the reconstruction one of his plans was to grant the south amnesty,replace the loyal rule in the south.And he was going to take someone out of jail.

1.When Thoreau said, "that government is best which governs least", what do you think he meant? Do you agree or disagree? Explain.

It meant that when the goverment trys to take power over something else when they should just leave it alone or when they should only govern when its really needed.I do agree because sometimes the I think the government trys to take matters into their on hands and should really leave things the way they are if the situation is really not that serious.Also for example when each state has a law they probably want a say in that law and would probably want to change it when they want to and it just can not be that way.
